Blueberry "Top Hat" with a white coat.If there were any berries right now, they sure would be blue (with cold).

Many Thanks for your latest comments, Sixpence!! The temps only reached - 20 farther north. here, lowest was - 10 the other night. Yes, we are snug as bugs, and about to watch a movie (with a box of chocs, of course!). Guess what the kids have chiosen? "Ice Age" - Heehee!!! :-)) X

I really think that blueberry bushes are "worth their weight in gold". The berries apart, they give us interesting blossom, stunning autumn foliage colour, and those reddish-coloured winter branches - great "all-rounders". :-))

And they taste good to .... I have about 8 bushes and get a good crop from them .. did you know that they use to feed blueberries to the pilots in the war because they are good for the eyes ?

We have only 3 bushes, Amy, and the berries never even reach the kitchen door - all eaten long b4 they get there, lol!
Didn't know this info re the WW2 pilots - how amazing!! :-))

What a brill picture lovely coloured branches, I heard it was -22 up scotland the other day is it any colder to night? Hope you are keeping warm there.
