Pleased you are now set free, Helen, its awful isnt it not being able to go out, we havent ventured since Boxing Day but hoping to get out later today, they have just cleared the top road so the buses are back on today ;0))

Hard to believe you've had this amount of snow, even in Scotland! Looks like some very efficient snow clearing went on there though. Of course to me here in the snowy depths of Canada, it's pretty normal. Good luck!

Gosh Helen what a lot of snow to clear up. I wonder where they put it, as piled up snow takes ages to melt. Best place would be the park and let the children make lots of snowmen and have outdoor fun.....but health and safety would say no!

they have just left it !!! if it melts slowly then that's ok but if not my garden is where it will flood in to ,so here's hoping for slow !!!

It just goes to show what the heck do you do with great heaps of snow! If it was us when we were kids we would be having great fun with it. Good job there is room there to leave it piled up like that.

kids are enjoying sliding down it and digging holes etc.
