ICY POND

Is that a little patch beginning to thaw?

Thanks gee19, sixpence.......... yesterday we had snow, but this morning it has all gone, pond is fine and my fish are ok..........

Mine still iced over can't see inside pond yet.

No snow raining really hard, still can't see proper in pond as still quite a lot of ice on it, but i saw Flip and Flop under the ice this morning, and went to have another look 1/2hour ago and they was'nt there so they have to be alright.

So glad your fish seem to be ok..... mine moved about so he must be ok... when the ice melted i was amazed at all the pond weed in there im sure there wasnt so much in there before.....

Makes you wonder where it comes from, i've got a very small pond that have no fish in and i left it to see if any wildlife would go in, i never really bother with it, and all ice on it gone and all nice and clear can see to bottom as its not very deap at all.

i thought the pond weed only grew in the summer...lol....... but it looks as if it likes the snow and has multiplied......
