I've never tried to grow these before, so fingers crossed!
At the back is Tricyrtis x empress (a toad lily with purple spots and a yellow centre) and Salvia madrensis (a yellow salvia).
In front is the 'Freckles' violet.
I also received my little packet of Ozothamnus diotophyllus seeds - a yellow flowering rare native of Qld.

You will love the Toad lily, others sound lovely, keep us posted when they flower. Toad lily is very hardy here in Canada, & is incline to run here, so do not know what it will do in Aus. Org. Japan right???

Just catching up with your comments Doon ... so far the Toad lily and the Freckles violets have coped with our horrible summer. We've had a couple of weeks of around 40 degrees C days and humidity levels around 80%. The salvia doesn't seem to be faring so well ... but I planted that one out in an outdoors garden bed ... maybe I should have potted it up and kept it in the greenhouse with the others!!!
Not sure that the Toad lily will run here in north Queensland Doon ... I don't intend planting it out in a garden bed as I'm not sure it would cope with the heat, humidity, harsh sunlight and the dry conditions. I'm going to keep it potted up and see how it goes.

That is a good idea, with the Toad lily, lovely little gem. Yes maybe you should repot the salvia again, although they seem to be tough little customers. Good Luck Bernieh.
