Ooop, I hadn't thought about drainage after all the snow you've all had. I think the plants will be dormant enough in the cold to let it drain before they liven up.

Hi all this is from melting snow & heavy rain weve had last few days :( This happened b4 & i lost some plants but im more worried now as i now have my home grown Rhodedenron in here 2:(

my garden is flooded in places from the melting snow to jacque.... and they say tomorrow its going to be wet and windy.... so more water in the garden.....hope your plants are ok....

Dry today so the big puddle on my path has gone (into the flower beds!!) and the grass is like a bog. The weight of the snow has damaged the roof of my cycle shed too but son in law will hopefully sort that out when the weather is better.

You dont want to see ours then ! Same problem plus heavy rain here all day.....

Same here today, BB, heavy rain and windy too. Feels colder than when it was snowing! Hope things get better for you soon.

Thanks Gee...tomorrow supposed to be a good forecast..well,for January.Time to get out and inspect the damage ! At least some of our bulbs are braving it all.....

Its been lovely here the last couple of days ....sunshine ,and all the snows gone,seems we are to have some more on Wednesday ,oh I do hope the,ve got that wrong......
