Anothergala..

I've just been looking through the snowdrop bible and can find no mention of a 4 petalled elwesii. I know snowdrops can do funny things when clumps are lifted and replanted. If it's a regular feature I think you may become very popular with the galanthophile fraternity. Lucky you :-)
