Does this area get lots of leaves falling in the garden in autumn ?

yes may do in the fall and after and also the sun hopefully will shine towards the kitchen windown n eventual lawn area and thank you for your help

Yes, your lawn will likely have some areas which get a lot more sunshine than others... just something to consider when you work out your design..Likewise which areas might be swamped with autumn leaves...:o(
