Mini has a New Name

I was searching and found a siantpaulia hybrid by name Kiwiland Treasure, looks just like mine. I know, out of bloom and a bit yellowed, still bigger than ever and will still bloom hundreds of pink double blooms.

Thanks for the comments. This is the largest african violet I've ever seen. About 18 inches across. It's now almost 8years old. It has been easier and more tolerant than many of my others. To get this large I did have to keep the pot shallow, this is more a succulent dish. I'll definately post this years flowering, ongoing for about 5 months. You can link to some photos of it blooming the last few years in My Garden too.

Cat, the mini is a hybrid with leaves about half the size of most saintpaulia. It seems much more happy about spreading like this than the others. If it gets too big, I'll buy it another house. :-) Thank you. :-)
