Very Old Howea fosteriana - Kentia Palms in Banker's Hill, San Diego, CA

WOW..... they are huge but very elegant ...wonderful..

Now if these are 100years + and 50 ft , my one which stands at 2ft i will be 148 ish when it gets to about 30ft allowing for slower growth over here .....
Not going to see it am i ???.... Damn ..:O((((( LOL

148ish is about the right age you'll be before your Kentia grows to 30 feet / 9 meters tall. LOL! : > )

In California Kentia palms commonly grow to 25 - 40ft / 7 - 12 meters tall...however, is is not very common to see them more than 50 feet/ 15 meters tall. I think it's because they haven't been growing outside here for hundreds of years. I know on Lord Howe Island...where they're native, they grow to 100+ feet / 30+ meters tall.
