Appreciate the kind words y'all .! I love the curly leaves and the trunk on this one, it remains green even in maturity,(which is only a few feet taller than this one).Up close the trunk has rings around it, making it look like a green stalk of bamboo.

What a great collection of Acers you have!! Tremendous only wish my garden was just a wee bit larger and I would intorduce a few myself, I see a project coming on for 2009. Superb
