This tree is one of many very old pollarded beeches in what is Burnham Beeches, not far from me.

We have Relatives in Bucks. We used to go to Burnham Beeches each time
we visited to walk the Dogs, its a lovely place to see these old trees and
sometimes Wildlife!!
