Crinum species - Pink Lily

A very commonly grown Crinum which has big pastel pink flowers which will be blooming in the next couple of months.

These's so many species and hybrids of Crinums which grow here...I'm sure I'll some pics soon. I have several Crinum asiaticum - Queen Emma Lily plants. They have very large clusters of fragrant, perfumy flowers in spring - fall.
The plants become huge here...about 8 feet / 2.4 meters tall here.

How old is this plant Andy...I've just bought a powellii bulb, which is a pink one?

Not sure how old this Crinum is...however, there's hundreds of plants which have naturalized in Palm Canyon. Crinum species and hybrids are extremely widely grown in California. It's very difficult to identify the exact name of the these plants. : > )

I'm looking forward to seeing this in bloom Andy,I do like Crinums.
