Here they come! Like little choir-boys with their ruffs.

I have planted lots of aconites over the years but they disappear! These look beautiful - must search for mine.

Are these the same that grow wild in the woods or a cultivated variety? They are very pretty and a great description, Spritz.

Thanks, Gee - sorry, I have no idea if they grow wild - I've never seen any, but they must be native plants somewhere, mustn't they?

Forget what I said, Spritz - another senior moment. I was confusing them with Celandine...... oh dear, now where did I put those memory tablets :)
7 Feb, 2010
Ah-ha! Yes - and I don't like celandines in the garden - they're almost impossible to get rid of - unlike these - unless you are Amy, of course! LOL. She seems to have the spreading kind - lucky Amy. :-)))

I'm going to look out for more potted up, to see if I can get them to establish that way - I have a feeling that they may be like snowdrops - and need planting 'in the green'.

Oh, that's good news! A lovely surprise.. :-))
