Many sincere thanks to each of you. I never realise just how much I miss that view when I'm stuck in Rome and it's only when I sit and gaze through that window, I appreciate how lucky I am. Not be long now when the cats and I move for the summer !!!

All this talk of summer - we had blizzards of snow in Rome this morning. It's stopped now, but everyone was SO excited - the last time was in 1986 !!

Sorry about that, Terry, I think it was my fault. I huffed and puffed so much because we had a heavy fall of snow and I couldn't go out with my daughter, I must have blown it over your way :)

Ah Gee - I hope you and your daughter have now managed to go out - enjoy your time together as our daughters are so precious ...

We went out the following day, Terry. It was lovely, we shopped for granddaughters birthday bits and pieces and then had a meal on the way home :)

That's exactly what I miss about having Daniela so far away - she lives in Michigan and her trip here for Christmas was over in a second. sigh !!
