BARGAIN POTS.....

Aren't these a great buy, Holly? I get them to start off my dahlias in. I use a metal BBQ skewer heated over the gas hob. to make drainage holes.

Great arnt they David.... ive got loads to plant in them.....i make the holes with a screwdriver....... your idea sounds good might try that.....

I use an electric drill - maybe thats a bit of overkill :)

I use the drill on thicker troughs and planters, Gee, but even then, I often take out the whole base by being too heavy-handed or speedy, hehe!

Screwdriver is good, too, Holly, especially heated up - no pressure required.

I always buy these to Holly & cut holes in the Bottom with a sharp Knife :)

Yes they r Holly :) I have all my Large Fuchsia`s Planted in these! & il be planting My Dahlias into some to when they r big enough to handle :)

ive bought some dahlias from wlikinsons.. jacque should i start them off indoors now....... i was going to put them straight in the garden later on......

I Planted my Dahlias Monday Holly into Pots in My GH then il put the Pots outside when Danger of frost has passed a long with my Fuchsias :)

i think i will plant mine into pots as well... ive got loads to pot up...lol then they can either go in the garden later or stay in pots.......i havnt got a greenhouse but mine are in my spare bedroom..... and on the landing i think they are taking over the house..lol

Its nice having new plants to Pot up isnt it Holly ;) I love doing that job ,Your lucky haveing a Spare Bedroom to keep them all in :) Iv got my Aster/Petunia Seeds on my landing window sill so My Cats dont knock them off as its the only sill in my house they dont climb/sit on :D

are these the pots they sell off from having flowers in? someone told me about these will have to get hubby to look out for them, i can't cope with supermarkets due to the Menieres, great buy
