We've had a chaffinch visiting us. He had a bad leg for a while but seems to have recovered again.

The programme Animal 24/7 was on telly this morning and there was a piece in it about people capturing these small wild birds and selling them for £100 each...They set food-traps and covered their boundries with fine mesh fabric to catch them as they flew off....They were kept in aviaries and the poor wee things were so stressed....how cruel...:<(

Gerry was watching this and it goes to prove how low some people stoop to gain money. They don't seem to have a concience.
