It's getting CRAZY in this house/Jungle!!! Think I'll be camping in the garden soon...oh no, can't do that...it's full of plants too, an hotel maybe!

He does car parts! I guess we're as bad as each other, but he likes the plants too...he's the one who potted up these Banana's bless him!

baz does car parts, always on ebay looking for a bargain lol but unlike your hubby baz doesnt like plants at all, grr lol

I like ebay too, I've had some lovely plants from there.

im going to be getting some of my plants off there this year jen, had a couple last year and are fine, so much cheaper :o))

Very true San much cheaper, I suppose they don't have the overheads that the Garden Centres have to take into account.

We'll have to send a search party into your house soon to find you ... those plants are taking over!

jen ive ordered my first bananna plant off ebay lastnight lol, so i will post a pic when it comes, :o))

They're Hardy to a degree let's say. You can plant them out in the border or very large pot, but you'll need to protect them with straw/fleece etc, they can't survive these low temperatures we've been having this past year or so.
Great choice though San, that's the one that started me off so watch out! ;O)))

thanx jen think i will put in a pot then just to be sure :o)) will find a space in house during winter months, do you think baz will notice lol

Well it was like this Dotty, I got talking with the owner, we talked about plants and Australia, and plants, and dogs, and plants...some time later, I remembered what it was that I was meant to be asking her.
"The plants on the reduced table were trying to jump out of their teeny pots, well root bound, and going brown at the edges. Would she like me to help her out....and take them off her hands?' lol
We struck a very good deal for the lot, my husband had his head in his hands by now, and eight babies were promptly packed into the back of the car by a very helpful assistant...Whoop, Whoop, Whoop! :o)))

It's funny you should say that, maybe it's catching. Wonder if anyone else has noticed this affliction? Hmmm....

I expect it's like the nervous twitch I get when bits and pieces of car come into the house...yuck!

oh yes im always moving car bits into garage jen, thankfully baz doesnt tinker with them in house, got him a heater for garage lol
