I've been growing them on over winter San, they were part of a 'find' in the reduced section, glad to say that they've not only recovered but are growing away nicely! :o)

San, I'll put them out in May depending on the weather, can't afford to loose any more...as you can see, I don't have many! ;o)
Thank you Rkalyan, they're not bad considering the weather we've been having this Winter. :o)
lol Mushy...we don't have a T.V! You're right though...if we did have one then it would be overgrown by now ! :o)))

I have this vision of Lenny Henry doing his David Bellamy impression if any one can remember...peering through the jungle leaves ...:o))))

Oh yes Mushy, not only do I remember, I saw him do his act live when he was 'just a lad'. He was absolutely brilliant...he came on stage wearing his 3ft tall Rasta hat and a cheeky look on his face, he didn't even speak for at least 10mins as everyone was laughing so much...including him! His Bellamy impression was recieved the same way, hilariously funny and I've never forgotten it, best comedian I've ever seen. :o)))

Junglejen:
Wow! Quite a banana collection. What will you do when they grow very tall? I know some banana varieties grow easily to 20 feet/ 6.1 meters tall..and Ensete ventricosum 'Maurelii' in the ground will grow to 25 feet / 7.6 meters tall.

LOL D, They'll take a long time to get that big over here, and they're easier to constrain in pots. I'll worry about that when the time comes...maybe a three story house with a central spiral staircase, Atrium above? I'm deaming...I wish!
'Maurelii' is my personal favourite for foliage. :o)

Junglejen:
I hope you get your 3 story house with the atrium! : > )
Ensete ventricosum 'Maurelii' is a very beautiful plant...however, once it blooms, it dies...like all plants in the Musaceae family. : > (
