Thank you. She is precious to me. She checks the cieling fan now and then, she thinks one day it will get her. Bored....lol :-)

I enjoy her stripes. She can be sleek or puffed out, never know what face she''ll take. I like it, makes her more safe from owls and such. She gives me many innocent faces, I do believe them, she's so good.

When i first saw this photo I thought "Tiger, tiger burning bright" ! Think its her eyes.

What an absolutely beautiful cat! I'm with her over ceiling fans - surely one day it'll come flying off it's pivoty thing and cause carnage at ground level!

Every morning she asks to be let out, I open the door...she sniffs.... and then the ears flatten...she squeaks (her voice is very high) and goes back by the heater to pout. No more cold! :-)

Her eyes are bright, a bit green, they do catch your attention. She had just plopped down from harrassing a few toy pillows and a string. :-)

Twiggy, she hid for three days when I turned on the fan here. She'd never seen one before.

Well she's obviously very sensitive! When we were away a few weeks ago we stayed in a couple of places that had ceiling fans instead of air con so had no choice but to switch the flippin' things on. What I can't get my head round is that they whizz round like propellers, build up speed, wobble on that central fixing as they 'oscillate' and we have to trust that the person who installed them wasn't having a bad day! Poor Bianca!! On a more serious note I do know that cats can suffer from 'sensory overload' so perhaps the fan is humming on a note that Bianca just finds too much.

LOL. I'm relaying as best I can. She's fine with the fan now. She checks it when nothing else is happening, head lowered like its gonna bump her....lol. She stands right next to it on the steps and ignores it too. Its was just new and scary. She's very careful.

Fans are a bit scary, and this one hangs from one of those long poles. They do seem like they should be taking of, don't they? I forget sometimes, I run it always, its the breeze for the garden indoors.

Bizzarely, I've just been listening to Alan Carr on Radio 2 and a listener has rung in with a 'near miss' story. She was on holiday in Greece recently and stretched her arms above her head during a yawn forgetting about the ceiling fan. The result was the loss of one false finger nail! See, I told you they were dangerous. I suggest you don't read this bit out to Bianca!

Thanks. She cleaned out the shrews about 3 years ago, haven't seen another. Still plenty of mice for her to prowl for.Even cleaned out a batch of spring rabbits last year. Wont be having any of that around the house again I'll bet. For a timid little thing, she does that job very well.

I do love Bianca and do tell her to keep her claws away from the fan..would not to lose one after all her work sharpening them just so......I like to sit by a heater when it is chilly here too... :o) so cozy...purrr-rrr-rrr...I am with you Bianca..

No worries she would mess with the fan. She'll stay by the heater or a warm lap. Thanks Cat. :-)

Seeing your latest batches of photos made me miss Bianca, so I came back here to have another good look at her - and now I am happy again, because this is such a wonderful and satisfying photo.
