I went to Cambo House last wednesday - photos not quite ready yet - and they had bunches of snowdrops on the tables in the cafe, so we had the opportunity to find out what they actually smell like! I would't call it a perfume exactly, but definitely the fresh smell of spring!

That and moving the Met Office from here in Bracknell down to Exeter a few years ago. The weather in Berkshire has deteriorated since then
