David yes i did it find the fine detail a bit trying on the eyes working under artifical lights these days.

I have some little green glasses exactly like that, and a jug to match. They came from my gran's house.
The pic is brilliant :o)

We better compare Jugs Mine also came from my Grans house and as I understand it they are Nailsea Glass but not 100% sure, It would figure as that glassworks was only 20 miles away.I think it closed down best part of a hundred years ago

Thanks Brian. I didn't know where the glass came from or what it was called. I understand they originally belonged to my grampa's grandmother.

I've only just seen the original photo of these - I really thought this was a vase of flowers in front of a picture - until I read the comments and looked again! I was completely fooled, it is so beautifully painted. I didn't dare go near in case I knocked the vase over, lol.

Thank you Wagger I enjoyed doing it ,I have a water jug of the same design I am tempted to paint that with other flowers in it
I intend to put picture of the jug on for Hywel to see if his is the same .will blog it with other photos
