That's a large pine tree, just across the road. I used to stand in its shade while flying kites ! That would of course need a wind coming FROM that tree towards where you are looking from in this picture.
Hope this comment catches you before bedtime! (it's 8 am here).

N2O, I see now there's another similar pine tree on photo "Roses 6" which also appears on photo "Sidewalk" . Not for nothing is that "Garden Suburb" named Pinelands ! Those pine trees provide a feast of pine kernels (pine nuts), a great delicacy but requiring a lot of work to extract the tiny nuts from the very hard shells.
