you have to be vicious and cut the main stem.....then it 'should' shoot from the stem and you can use the top as a sutting....

Sandra do you feed yours ? we have this one, it does not look as good as your though.

i feed most things in may/june...just a general feed like tomao feed once or twice. getting the water and light right is more important. the more light the darker the leaves.

i stop watering mine after the first frost and TRY not to water them till first of march....mine are starting to regrow now...in the summer when they are growing i try and give mine a good drenching once a week...

Thanks for that Sandra, ours are inside so they get hot and have not stopped growing, so we have to water them through the winter.

Wow...that looks happy too. I was given one of these and its now a 3 ft stalk with a head........How do you make them branch out Sandra?
