Kigelia africana - Sausage Tree

Lucky you, having Sausage Trees so near to your home...
I shall be looking out for Palm Trees to nominate. ;o)

This isn't the only one in the neighborhood. : > )
There's a few around...however, they're not very widely planted. I think it's been in the last 20 years that they've become a little more available.

It seems they are becoming more popular...
They have so many different stages of interest with the leaves, flowers and sausages...

Yes, you're correct. The leaves are very interesting because they feel like sandpaper.
