Most orchids are epiphytes...they grow on trees in their native habitats.

Jacarandás and ochids sounds familiar... :)

Yes, the millions of Jacarandás here will start blooming in the next couple of weeks or so. Most of the orchids species which grow here are mostly winter blooming. : > )
