Helleborus thibetanus - 2010

Helleborus thibetanus - 2010 (Helleborus thibetanus)

Another hellebore I've finally managed to track down. This flowers February/March and has also been moved since being planted last year (NOT a good idea for a hellebore) so it is having a tough time of it with the winter we've just had. Goes into dormany earlier than others of the family so don't be alarmed if it disappears before autumn

Pam - I got it mail order last year from Fir Tree Nursery which is in your neck of the woods

It's a smashing plant Andrew, it's grown in the Alpine House at Kew - it will be interesting to see how well it grows outside.

That's a lovely hellebore Andrew. Fir trees is a good nursery, I've used them myself - mail order of course!
