fish starting to look for food.

I have just noticed I can see the Tench. Its above the small orange one bottom right and to the left of the next orange one white tail above. Its a green torpedo shape. She has done well, she is 29yrs old in May.

Mine are getting ready for feeding, she as done very well for her age.

Wow 29yrs old she has done well to get through the terrible winter, you have some lovely fish, mine are emerging from their sleep too, keep seeing a few more each day, love to see all the new babies later in the year, all the different colour combinations :-)

back in May '81 hubby went fishing and he and a mate pulled blanket weed out. He found 12 tench fry which came home in his flask. She is the only survivor, her last sister died at 24yrs old. We started with 6 goldfish and there are well over 40 fish now.

That's amazing, I lost my fish last year:-( I still can't see her though:-)

there are floating pellets over the weed, 3 almost in a vertical line then 2 smaller pieces to the right. The furthest one is above her. you can just make out the curve of her mouth. well I can coz I know she is there.

Nope, still can't see her, I can see the pellets though, maybe I need new specs:-)

dont worry, its only coz I know she is lurking there. she matches the weed very well. :o)
