. I've posted it for Powderbrush. I can assure you that I'm not wearing a white hair net or going grey :-) I still am finding it difficult to reduce pic sizes, hence no bow on the boat lol

Homebird, it's the River Dee, a quiet but navigable river with plenty of wildlife. The banks are very colourful in Summer. Plenty of Himalayan Balsam (sadly) but there's lots of Purple Loosestrife, Water Lilies and water forget-me-not and a sort of Cow-Parsley. and many more.

Heron on the river.....look out everyone!!! LOL. Nice boat to potter in and see all the local wildlife along the banks. Do you ever see any water voles?

Any special significance of the flag ?
I've been looking on the internet trying to match it with British Nautical flags..:o)
"Heron-driven-by-a-robin" flag ? ;o)

He's just bob bob bobbing along on the river Terratoonie.

It's just the standard Royal Navy Ensign TT Lindak, I see lots of wildlife inc water voles....while bob bob bobbin' along. I'm an unusual bird, it's usually the Robin that does that. lol

Ah, I was looking at more obscure flags... Lol.

It was the mention by TT of the "robin" flag Heron. LOL.
Seriously though it must be lovely just to get the boat out and potter along the river. Did you construct your boat?

It is Lindak, I could talk about it all day and more as it's my pride n' joy. Bought by my Father before I was born and re-built by him when I was 12, it's in impeccable condition today. Sadly I don't know who built it originally or when but it would be about 30 years old when I was 12.

How lovely that it has been passed down to you. Think of all the joy over the years for your family.

I often do Lindak, most Sundays were spent on the river (in Summer) and we spent all of our school hols in an old army bell tent on the river bank.

Such freedom then Nowadays it seems different.
