Great photo!
Thanks! This palm is Roystonea regia - Cuban Royal palm native to Cuba. Cuban Royal palm is a very quick growing palm...widely grown throughout the world in tropical and warm subtropical climates. It's a very popular palm here in Southern California.
Mushybanna, was this photo taken close very close to the beach? I noticed, what appears to be a little bit of salt burn on the lower fronds.

I guessed correctly. : > ) The Royal palms close to the ocean here look the same way. The salts from the ocean air accumulates on the leaves...and if it doesn't rain for many months (like in San Diego), the salt burns the leaflets.

That's funny! : > )
Palms are my true love! It's the reason why I have too many of them. Want a few dozen? LOL!!! However, Delonix regia - Royal Poinciana is my favorite flowering tree in the Fabaceae (leguminosae) family.
