Am I right in thinking these like damp soil, Holly? Heavy rain here this afternoon but I think it has stopped now, thank goodness.

Out botany teacher used to take us to a marsh where there were lots of these. They're a wonderful sight when you see a crowd of thwm.

Yes you are right gee19.............they are marginal pond plants so like the damp soil.... yorkshire i had just got them and as they are barerooted.. put them in water till i could get out to plant them which have now done.....
Bet there a lovely sight to see, when they spread Hywel.......

great little marginal gave stacks of mature one away last year, never grown any from seed when do you sow and how long to mature .( put in new pond now ready to plant)
