My Ice Cream Bean tree after its big root was cut from growing through the hole in pot into the ground...and before I cut 3 feet / 1 meter off the top of the tree. Photo taken March 11, 2010.

I've posted many large trees in the past. This tree produces huge bean pods which have a cotton-candy like center which is edible and taste like ice cream. It's very good. : > )

Well, it makes a good potted plant...and tolerates drastic pruning to keep it small and compact. However, it doesn't produce very many seed pods when in a pot.
