Thanks Dawn, no not a collared dove it's a small grey Dove which we have in abundance around this area. I was cutting the hedge and had to make a little roof over her to protect her from the huge crows we also have here.

Aww, you're so good protecting her, I hope she raises lots of chicks.

Thanks Dawn, hopefully I will be able to tell you, she is up high and difficult to get at, it was only because I was at the top of a very long ladder that I saw her.

She well away from humans then (except for men of very long ladders) but nearer to the crows. I'm sure she'll be fine now she has a little roof :-)

Yes Ray, she's sitting pretty. I am keeping my eye on her, she turned her self around the other way last week when it was very windy. I will report on her if there is any news. I'm hoping in a couple of weeks.
