This palm makes a good houseplant...it grows slowly in a pot and tolerates dry air by a sunny window.

I can almost bet if you find one it will be extremely expensive. This palm used to be really cheap -- $15.00 for a 4 foot/ 1.2 meter tall 5 gallon plant. Now it runs about $100+ dollars.

The reason for their great expense -- is because they're almost completely extinct in their native habitat : > ( -- and they're slow growing. Luckily, there's many seed-bearing trees in cultivation.
