Wow the metalic red buds are unreal they open into straw coloured flowers . a lovely plant with silver grey foilage, have great expectations of this plant!

Beautiful, think I have lost both of mine, had to cut them right back, I shall leave them to see if I have a glimmer of hope.

Thanks all, it seems yet another one to protect in the winter!
Sandra it does say on the label to cut back ant damaged foilage, so think I would be giving it a trim, will be interested to hear how both yours and Sixpences plants get on!

yours has survived much better than mine Carole , I'm not sure if mine will make it , it's looking a bit black and soggy :o(

Didn't we see some of this pretty plant in David's garden? Ruby clusters?? This plant is a double whammy.... gorgeous flowers and stunning foliage!
