This Amaryllis flowers every year & has done so for the last 9 years, in fact it hasn't missed a year without at least one flower stalk! Some years it has produced two & some years it has even flowered twice in the same year! It is just coming into flower in this photo which I took on 25th March.

Thanks, Richard. Propagation is by bulb offsets or seed. The flowers are just opening today! I got another photo this morning with the first flower half open. This evening its almost completely open & a 2nd flower is nearly half open.

This will soon be out Balcony -you have done well to keep the plant all this time. Can you take cuttings off it just in case you lose it -or is propagation by bulb division - not sure (I suppose I should look it up!)
