i got this a few weeks ago but cant remember name, its lovely now opening. now i know the name and cant say it lol

It's a type of Fritillaria. I can't remember it now but I have grown them in the past. They are fascinating.

I had a look on google for Fritillaria and maybe it is a snake head Fritillaria Sandra

It's not the snake head one but a relative of it. I 'll try and find the name.

thanx Gee yes from same family, i saw some snakesheads today in B&Q but i didnt get one, did get 5 assorted rockery plants for £5 and a tray of spreading plant reduced to £1.50, composs and growmore to feed bulbs which need to be done now to get more flowers next year,

You are getting plenty of stock in Sandra. Your pool and surrounding rockery will look a picture when it is finished. It is a lovely day here so I will be going out in the garden soon to see what needs doing :-)

thanx richard i got a few more plants today lol, rockery spreading ones to go inbetween, stopped raining but dull here, but pond seems ok ;o)

I didn't stay in the garden long Sandra although the sun is out there is a biting cold wind. It will warm up later in the week so the weatherman said..hope it is right. You may get a chance to get on with your pond then :-)

yes cold wind here to richard but ive repotted geranium cuttings, and my begonias, also nipped buds off bizzy lizzies so they grow up a bit first lol, all in growhouse now to toughen up a bit, spare room was getting a bit full,;o)
