Thanks all. Been desperate to get closer but as they are quite timid birds, moreso than the tits, they can be difficult to catch on the old lens. ALi simply refers to them as 'the green ones!'

Lovely colours on them. Just got to try and get the Greenfinch on camera now!

The Greenfinch are tending to feed off the new feeder station. Had 4 on their a week or so ago but they disappear before I can get out there! I'll keep trying!

Truth be known Richard, i was in the GH and just happened to look up and there he was.......luck rather than creeping!!

I always keep my camera handy now when I am in the garden as I have missed a few things already! :-)
