Yes, it is, Brian. Generous self-seeders, aren't they?

I have an odd one i will post in the next week ,seeded in the join of some wooden steps i use to get me onto a steep piece of the garden no soil just what is rotting there. looks real healthy.

How funny! According to 'The Great Monty Don' they like wet soil best with summer shade. I have some that have seeded into a gravel path which gets plenty of sun and they thrive!

Thanks, Bonkers. When I first looked at it I thought it was a bit wishy-washy but I quite like it now - and it's certainly doing well where it is, it was a very small plant last year. It's made a patch about eighteen inches across this year.
