No it dies down in winter and is very hardy just like normal Rhubarb'
but don't eat it what ever you do ... Not good....

been looking but cant seem to find it anywhere, did you get it from GC or nursery mushy?

Has it ever flowered yet Mushy. I'm still waiting for me to and I've had it for about 4 years.
Sandra: Try searching for RHEUM palmatum Ornamental Rhubarb, you should be able to find them.
I've grown them from seed this year.

Yes its flowered every year since the second year and its now 4-5 years..

I have just divided mine up into 4 more a couple of weeks ago and they are all starting to get new growth......

Hi Mushy, lucky you. Were the flowers pink or white. Mine probably isnt as happy as yours then. I've grown a few from seed this year so I'll spread them around and see what happens.
