This is a new one from Crug Farm, planted a couple of months ago. "A slightly untidy scrambler .... of little horticultural value" according to my clematis book. It can reach fifteen feet in height

Now, that's really something...you even have a clematis I've never heard of!! There should be a prize for that! Nice plant though!

Karen/Grindle - anything that comes from Crug Farm is going to be unusual. It is run by a husband and wife team who go plant hunting most years, often in Asia, and bring back seed of things they have found. The nursery is based in North Wales and they have only started doing mail order for a couple of years
