Pink Ipê trees start to bloom in early January. They can bloom at different time.

...from a distance it looks like a cherry tree. These are just coming into bud here in London.

This is the closest we get to having cherry trees. : > )
The climate here is too warm for cherry trees (not enough chilling hours)
