My biggest buy from the Scottish Rock Garden Club annual show in Edinburgh. The flowers on this are much deeper red than than usual and have longer petals. The mottled silver grey leaves add interest to this plant which likes moist soil in part shade. 10.4.10

I would like that but, aint got no moist soil at moment.....all butts empty.I think it might have been somewhat damper where you live in Scotland.

Thankyou all. It is gorgeous. I planted it in the shelter of some shrubs in a north facing border. It still looks so fresh.
