Yes, they do go a bit drab in a cold winter, but boy aren't they a godsend for ground cover, and so easy to split up and replant! I have the multicoloured one and I love it!

Im pleased it survived the cold winter. Its a lovely wine colour in the flesh.

I have a couple of different types of these (but they all look the same!). They look a bit drab until the new growth and flowers appear, don't they. Very useful plant.
