Love these, but I lost mine some years ago, as too exposed and windy. No-where seemed to be sheltered enough.

I chopped my acer down today. It grew 7 feet since I planted it in the ground, and it was in the way of my greenhouse I hope to put up soon. I've kept some cuttings. I bought it very small in Woolworth meny years ago lol

Mine has been in the greenhouse , I have lost two in past winters so wasn't taking the risk this year ....

looking good eileen - funny though the one I have in a pot never made it through the winter even though it was in the shed and the one planted out is thriving - you can't win

pure luck sometimes isnt it, although this one is in a pot its been out in the snow and rain all winter
