Very similar to the other blue Corydalis - a little paler in colour.

IT would have fitted in perfectly Spritz lol!

But there is a similar Corydalis in it already - so I left it out.

You made me buy one!

Did I twist you arm up behind your back? Hmm?? ;-/

Showing me such little gems is countermount to twisting my arms. How could I resisit especially as I know how well the other one you sent to me is doing. There was another at the nursery which was also a blue but slightly darker but I preferred the china blue.

Oh, I know, Flori! luckily, I have broad shoulders.....;-)))

Guess you keeping the Economy going all on your tod as far as Flora and Fauna are concerned~whoever they are lol! :~))

DO NOT mention fauna, Flori! Sob, sob. My lawn is all ploughed up again this morning. :-((( Yes - come to think of it, even the badgers cause some spending on electric fences!

my heart does go out to you Spritz, as it must be heartbreaking to see the damage these little devils do, even if it is nature, so forgive my wry humour, it is only ever gently meant :~)) Your garden is so special and know how much of yourself you pour into it, I only hope they find pastures new to disrupt, and leave your's well alone my friend........x

Thank you dear Flori - that means a lot to me. Some of the holes were 5 -6" deep this morning. It does 'hurt' to see it like that. xx

I know how I would feel if I had the same problem, so I really do feel for you my friend! You would think the scent of your dog would deter them wouldn't you? Can see your poor garden ending up wired to the Grid the way it's going Spritz!!

This is lovely - but it just won't grow here, always keels over.
22 Apr, 2010
How strange, Bamboo - is it the soil?
22 Apr, 2010
No idea, probably, maybe too much clay for it, but the yellow one pops up everywhere.
23 Apr, 2010
And I'd like the C. lutea to seed itself - but it doesn't! Strange, isn't it. I think I can see maybe two 'babies' this year. The C, ochroleuca has some, so I should be able to pot a few up this year - I haven't forgotten that I said I'd send you one!

I was hoping to get down for your open day - I have it marked on my calendar, but am not too sure I can manage it yet.
23 Apr, 2010
That would be great! I'd love to meet you. I do hope it works out for you. :-))
