Our garden isn't very big - one third of an acre. It used to have one theme and we could see right to the bottom. We now have four very distinctive areas, which make it seem larger and the middle area screens off the view of the lower garden. The upper garden is formal, with a lawn. The middle garden has the pagoda on one side and on the other is the jungle. The lower garden starts with perennials and then, as it gets shadier, becomes more of a woodland.
