Thai Basil

Here in Qatar, this plant is not used for cooking. It is used for its fragrant. People collect the leaves and put it in a bowl inside the hosue for the sweet smell. Also in weddings people through the leaves to the bride upon her entrance. There is no garden here that doesnt grow this plant.
The bees are crazy for these heavy scented leaves and flowers!

I can only grow this indoors here in the UK. it always get eaten by little beetles outside.
