Yes - and I'm not brave enough to cut it hard back as I do with the other Spiraea japonicas!

We cut ours right down to 4 /6 inches in Feb. every year Barbara and they are lovely shrubs , it dosn't seem to do them any harm in fact we think they are better for it .......

That's what I do to the other two - maybe I'll take the plunge next year. Thanks for telling me. :-))

Lovely colour, OH cuts our plants down every year too.

You're convincing me...I'll do it next year! I'll have to be careful, though - I have Clematis 'Blue Angel' scrambling through it!

Mine is cut down too, nice to know I`m doing something right.
