Well I never Spritz, I bought this plant yesterday and had never seen it before. My label says its Night Scented Phlox,------------ and it does, smells gorgeous!

What a mouthful for such a sweet plant.....

I fell in love with it at first sight. Not sure where to plant it yet tho' !

Mine went in as soon as I got it home today! That's another space filled. :-)))

This is a good plant. I've had them for a few years. They get pretty big in the first year and the scent at night is wonderful! Mine were damaged in the winter and I cut them right back. most of them are regenerating well.

What position did you plant them Spritz?

How big Karen? I've not got much space !

It's in the bed that faces west and gets a lot of sun. Now Karen's said that, I'm wondering if the place where I planted it is big enough!

About a foot - 15" or more across but not more than about 6" tall. Mine were planted in sunshine and in well drained spot, bit like an alpine would like.

That should be OK, then - and Karen is a LOT further North....

OK - will do. The showery weather has moved on - not that it did the slightest bit of good for the garden! So I won't need the brolly. lol.

Oh well we've had about three days of light rain so I haven't had to do any watering in over the weekend. I find that clems need a lot of water to thrive and we don't really get enough rain. Don't get enough sun either mind you!! lol

I've emptied the water butt twice in the last week - and had to use the hose to fill it. I love the sun, but the garden does need a good session of rain.

I have had this for about 7yrs and it has the most gorgeous scent, There is also an annual one. My girls called it the zazu flower, as one miss read it for the hornbill zazu in the lion king. I have it in full sun and a small bit in light shade. Take cuttings though as it doesnt seem to be that long lived in my experience.
