Salvia hierosolymitana

Salvia hierosolymitana (Salvia hierosolymitana)

A very tall and imposing plant - I can only take a photo of some of the flowers on the stem.

It's a great plant in the garden - but taking its photo was a real trial!

Spritz, would this salvia grow in damp conditions? I am looking for new plants for my damp areas

How tall does it grow?

I don't think so - the long name means 'Jerusalem', and it likes a sunny well-drained position. The Salvia that 'does' enjoy damp, is S. uliginosa, which is bright blue and tall growing - to about 3ft I suppose.
